I am an actuarial science graduate. I am confident with my Mathematics and English as I have excellent results in HKCEE. I will be working on part-time basis for tutorial with secondary school students.
The purpose of tutoring is to reinforce what students have learnt at school. It will best to know about the students first. After knowing their level, we can choose which exercises for them and which topics to further explain.
For junior students, it will based on doing exercises. They can also ask questions if there is still something learnt from school which they are still unfamiliar with.
For senior students, the best way of learning is to ask questions. It means they have reflect on what they have learnt and know what they are still unclear about. Therefore I will always encourage students to ask questions. Also, we can do pastpapers to focus on different topics in each lesson.
